Builders for Eternity

Project Spark! & Spotlight 2024

In collaboration with the McNay Museum’s Education Department, I developed and facilitated an 18-week program where artists in grades K–5 visited weekly and created work for the museum’s Spotlight program, inspired by Ian Dawson’s Henri and Henrietta.

Clouds In A Blue Sky

Clouds in a Blue Sky was the first emerging artist exhibition I facilitated and curated with Presa House Gallery, featuring drawings, paintings, and sculptures by artists in grades K–4.

Chalk It Up! 2023

This was our second time competing in the annual Chalk It Up competition. Artists in grades 3–5 created artwork inspired by the theme of community.

Present !

A collaborative project with artist Dan Herschlein during his residency at Artpace San Antonio in 2021

Artists in grades 1–4 learned Dan’s plaster-casting techniques and exhibited their work in his Artpace exhibition space.

Artworks About Artworks

In 2021, Artists in grades 2–4 visited the San Antonio Museum of Art over multiple trips, meeting with gallerists, artists, and the exhibitions and education teams to explore the question: What is a museum?
